I have been worried almost sick that the Orange Fascist will “win” this election with more cheating.

Then my package of 200 postcards showed up in the mail today.

OMG! Can I do this? With my arthritis?

YES! I can and I will! This is my antidote to election anxiety. I will focus every single night after work to complete as many cards as I physically am able.

If I can inspire even a few people to vote who otherwise might not, I will have done my part.

I am signed in on my new phone. Android. Using Chrome. Fully updated. Asked for desktop site so I could try out MSNBC on my phone. Instead, of the news channel lineup, there's a monkey ad wanting me to go Pro. I am already Pro. How do I make the monkey go away so I can watch the news?

Well, I never get likes from celebrities on the Birdsite. The conversation here is much better. But ..

CoSo doesn’t have the major players. So I still go to the Birdsite to see what the powers that be are saying. What are my senators saying and doing? Is a march being organized? Is a major boycott happening? Etc. Maybe someday CoSo will get a critical mass of users so that the powerful and influential come here too.

It was ... special.

The docs came around on their daily “death watch” and seemed surprised I survived the night.

Once, while there. a nurse almost killed me by accident. Fortunately out of boredom I had read the instruction manual for my IV pump and saw her HUGE mistake. I stopped her and told her to get a supervisor NOW. I insisted on getting someone in with knowledge. And the issue was corrected. The hospital director came to apologize.

I was tested. The test was unpleasant but not bad.

Then I waited. And waited. One week. Two weeks.

And, it turns out the lab threw away a bunch of our tests because they couldn’t test them “in time” so they suggested I do it again! Same with my co-workers. We never got our results.

NO, testing is for Trump. And his staff. Around here, testing is a joke. If I get sick, I will try again. But not until then.

Oh great. Among my many pre-existing conditions that put me at high risk, I survived a DVT in my upper femoral vein. That was dicey, but after a month in the hospital, which nearly bankrupted me, and a couple years on rat poison (just a prescription version), I survived. Now a virus that can cause DVTs ...

Well, it’s a GOP County, and despite three positive cases in our courthouse, they just suggested we could get tested, but we didn’t need to quarantine. They didn’t even disclose the names of all, but said we might have been exposed. Because, gee, we cannot shut down the courthouse. They closed one day for “cleaning” — wiping down hand rails and door knobs. That was it.

And we have little mask compliance. Mostly dick nose and ball sack wearing, as opposed to properly wearing a mask.
