Digital artists, would like some advice. What are you favorite drawing programs? What hardware? I have the I’mpression iPad is much better, but no data to back that. I have a touch screen Dell I can use (looking for pen recommendations if the dell us perfectly fine) know but I cracked the screen of my (first version) IPad Pro, right as I am ready to start learning 🤦🏻♀️🤯 your thoughts?
@corlin Thank you! I will save & I think if I present a good business case (will have to find articles, etc) we’ll do it. I appreciate the help!
@Groovyeli
I am pretty sure there are a few people here using this combination, every day.
Ask around.
@corlin @Groovyeli
Don't forget about refurbs... Got one for my daughter for note taking in her year of postBacc. Was incredible the notes she took... And after it had a problem they replaced it with a new one...
This one i think it's one been back but uses the better gen2 pencil...
@corlin @Groovyeli
Sigh..
This one is one generation back...
@InvaderGzim @corlin I have the original lol. It will be ok. I think we can do it, my husband just wants the business case why it is so much better then the dell touch pad (I need to find info/Data) I have a great scanner & think between analog art, scanning & digital I will grow a lot. I’m working on opening up & growing (o-m-g) lol
@Groovyeli @corlin
From what little I've investigated..
The ipad has better entry capabilities for the pencil... Angles and pressure...
Very natural from what i saw in a couple of videos...
Sorry no expert just observations.
@Groovyeli @corlin
I was never an apple fanboy but good design is good design...
And they do it much better than most...
A trip to the Apple Store might be warranted to give it a go?
@Groovyeli @InvaderGzim @corlin love my iPad. I would be crushed if it broke.
@Myrth @InvaderGzim @corlin I’ve been upset for months. It’s like having a sports car & I’m sitting in it, in the garages going “zoom, zoom” 😥
