The docs came around on their daily “death watch” and seemed surprised I survived the night.

Once, while there. a nurse almost killed me by accident. Fortunately out of boredom I had read the instruction manual for my IV pump and saw her HUGE mistake. I stopped her and told her to get a supervisor NOW. I insisted on getting someone in with knowledge. And the issue was corrected. The hospital director came to apologize.
