I would be extremely happy if the sale of fireworks to the general public was banned and/or strict ordinances were passed that they could only be used between certain hours.

I really couldn't give a shit how much you want to make big booms at all hours. You're causing distress to combat vets and others with PTSD as well as pets.

To the person in my neighborhood who is setting off periodic fireworks tonight:

Also, so what if Ukr *does* strike beyond its borders? Maybe the next time a Russian missile hits an apartment building in Kyiv, a Russian airfield or other strategic target goes boom. Works in Israel, at least temporarily.

Putin needs to feel more pain from his decisions. It's one thing to throw your troops and armor into the grinder, and be somewhat dissociated from them. It's another thing to be under threat you'll be hit back in your home territory.

What's the holdup on sending ATACMS to #Ukraine? I understand the US (public) statements of not supporting Ukr attacking beyond its borders, but I don't see how they can ever hope to retake Crimea when most/all Russian cruise missiles and aircraft have a big range advantage.

The other great idea I read a long time ago came from Rachel Tobac: salt your passwords with a short bit you have committed to memory. This means the passwords stored in the vault are incomplete; you manually enter your 'salt' at the beginning or end of the stored password when logging in. If your vault is ever compromised, the passwords are useless.

For those who may be averse to cloud-based password vaults, here is a cake-and-eat-it-too solution.
