They're fantastic, except the much increased bass response has revealed that my existing monitor stands, which are the cheapie On-Stage triangular adjustable ones, have horrible resonance issues. So I need to upgrade my stands now.

But otherwise, I feel like I'm able to make much better decisions in post-work for my recordings.

I'm sure it will work. But I don't necessarily believe that these cheap cables sold on Amazon are true cat [whatever]. I doubt they've been properly tested and certified. But for short runs I'm sure it doesn't matter, and pretty much no home user needs true Cat8 anyway.
