I take my online conversational tone from improv.
"Yes And"
The "Yes" portion of the rule encourages the acceptance of the contributions added by others. Participants in an improvisation are encouraged to agree to proposition, fostering a sense of cooperation, rather than shutting down the suggestion and effectively ending the line of communication.
This is why CoSo continues.
Keep CoSo improvisational.
I've said it before, and I'll say it again:
If you're outraged, then YOU are not paying attention.
Your outrage is the point. As long as you're furious, you can't do an effective job of having the conversation. You'll find lots of people who are seemingly as furious as you are, and you will all convince yourselves that inaction is action while everyone else tunes out.
That's the plan. That's why they're farming your outrage. It's both profitable and extremely effective for them. #sadbuttrue
Sometimes I think in amazement about the time my friend gained control over four unruly preteen girls squealing at a slumber party by getting down on her hands and knees and barking like a dog, causing all the children to freeze completely and stare at her in silence, and I wish she wrote a parenting book.
* If it calls your name, no it didn't.
* If it sounds like someone you know, your friend is dead.
* If you think you recognize the bodies in the water, no you didn't.
* If you hear your name called, no you didn't.
* If you hear a whistle, no you didn't.
* If it looks cute or harmless, no it didn't.

Some ants thought Tyche looked like a lovely pot to move into for a prosperous home. So, last night I put her out in the storm, hoping the rain would chase the colony away. Luckily, that worked for most of them, and the soil was loose enough to gently shake from the roots. I was fortunate enough to not get bitten.
I had a bit of serendipity and she already had multiple root systems, so I now have a couple of babies in water :).
Pixie's rooftop playground. I can hang treats on the twigs as well. She has already voluntarily come out of the cage and explored close to me (but not too close). She is far less afraid, she came up and tapped the glass when we touched it at the store. As I type, she has come out of the cage and is exploring the top. She'll teach the others to be brave :).
There is no cavalry. We are the cavalry.
Afternoon, folks -
Today's crested iris (Iris Cristata) in a miniature purple vase that I picked up at a yard sale. It appears to be a cast-off from somebody's pottery class and probably cost $1.00. But it's one of my favorites.
Have a great day!

🤷🏽♀️After 17yrs of marriage, today's not much different than any other day together, except the fact that we actually love each other more than the day we married! Through ups, downs, even the sideways days, we've learned the art of respect & compromise. w/o those, a couple can't thrive as a whole. He's thrilled I'm home, not away as I've been all wk; I'm thrilled too; one of my biggest joys is cooking him a meal he craves. Lots of the younger generation are all about gifts; we enjoy each other❤️
Nature, science, and art are super cool. Terribly sorry for the stuff that doesn't fit.
