Being angry has always been an excellent motivator, and it has driven the good work of political action since the dawn of time.
Our problem is that social media has perverted our understanding of effective anger, by convincing us that anger itself 𝘪𝘴 political action. It gave us license to stop doing the work.

Saw a version of this posted here some time back. Can't remember from whom:
Every day, an old man would stop by a news stand in Russia, pick up a newspaper, check the front page, put it down, and move on. One day, the news stand vendor asked him, "what are you looking for?"
"Obituary," the old man replied.
The vendor, perplexed, asked the old man, "you know obituaries are inside the paper, right?"
To which the old man responded, "...not the one I'm looking for."
Great synopsis of the war in Ukraine, Render. I always look forward to your updates. I hope those new to CoSo are paying attention.
