Alone in the house again. Well, as alone as you can get with four dogs and three birds. Yesterday Joe made sure to take me out to his parent's land so we could gather a ton of willow for weaving bird toys and perches, because he's romantic as fuck, so at least I have something to do.

Noooo they're trying to make me leave the new house and I don't wanna I'll miss the new bird.

Looks like they're going to be Wisp, as in will-o'-the-wisp. I think the color is violet dilute? Not seeing a lot of blue on that nose, so possibly a hen, but it's still too early to tell for sure. They're so beautiful :). Poor Joe looked annoyed when I asked for a bird within 30 seconds of entering the store, but he had already promised me a larger cage for the probably boys, leaving a whole cage open for might be hens. That leaves a few months before a larger aviary needs to be built!

Today the kiddo learns what a Pavlovian response is, and we start doing target training on the birdies. Then I can tap something like my hand to encourage them to come out of the cage :). I've been waiting for her to start this, she's been wanting to learn more about training for a long time.
