On the other side, there's a bunch of people trying to make hay out of the protests whose real goal is to try to either dismantle these educational institutions or replace them with vehicles for right-wing propaganda. They have an interest not only in making the protests seem as dangerous as possible, but also in making the administrations seem as weak and feckless as possible. Their critiques aren't designed to shed light on the situation.
