@Minholkin recently shared a photo of her beach visit. I was taken by it, the simplicity of the composition but the complexity of the wave shapes and colors, how you can imagine walking barefoot on the wet sand and wading out to the far shoals...
I usually work from my own photos. I asked her if she would allow me to use hers as a reference/inspiration for a painting. I'm so glad she said yes.

I generally try to avoid #politics posts, because you're not changing anyone's mind on the Socials, and I don't need an echo chamber. But, I'm actually clueless about this...
Why do so many people who have absolutely no chance whatsoever of winning, run for President? Can’t just be their need for attention. Is it to raise a ton of money? Yes, some misuse funds, but not all.
Anyone have an actual clue?

I just read something on Quora which blew my mind.
Bilbo's mithril shirt had been made originally for an "elf-prince". The way that Tolkien writes that line makes it seem like elf-princes were a dime a dozen. But! If you look at the work, the ONLY elf-prince to have been born after the destruction of Beleriand was Legolas. That's it. He's the only one. His father was the only elf-lord to claim the title of "king". (Gil-Galad was High King, but he had no children.)

2) Keeps changing rate plans, moving "peak" later, which means you can't sell back at the higher rates
