Wings! Is the game still on? Served sauce on the side, but 24 hour marinade in soy, oil, chili oil, garlic and ginger. So good, with and without sauce.

Another hot day, so I made cold, spicy, sesame noodles!
Added some marinated tofu to be extra fancy.

Yum! Oyakodon and miso soup. The Oyakodon was my first, and turned out great!

The sandwich and picture came out so perfectly, I had to share. A Pastrami Ruben. It’s on wheat, didn’t have any rye bread, but otherwise it’s all there.

Was going to make beef with broccoli, but unfortunately the broccoli had passed it’s mold-by date 🤢. So…

I made tacos! Delicious!

Sour spicy cold noodles, and tofu-avocado salad. Cool and refreshing dinner! Pretty too.

Back from a newish local restaurant. Best meal I’ve had in years! Won’t post everything, but here’s the locally caught bluefin tuna tartare and wagu beef courses…

Tacos! New thing was the pre-chopped taco meat we got. Marinated it in soy, oil, cumin, chili, oregano, and pepper for 4 hours, cooked until everything thickened. Bonkers yummy.

Hunan shredded pork with 5 spice tofu, and beef with broccoli. Super tasty!

This is a Fred’s steak. Yes, it’s suppose to look like that 😆. An absolutely amazing marinated steak invented around 60 years ago by a SF Bay Area butcher. It’s legend for locals. Don’t live there anymore, but the wife made a trip to the area, and brought this back.
Maybe the best steak I’ve ever cooked.
