Wouldn’t it be a better learning experience if they carried their reusable water bottles? Like you need to stay hydrated on a walk, and on a nature trail no less. Also personal responsibility!

It hurts my feelings that I have to send my kid with a fully disposable packed lunch tomorrow. Even the water bottle. I get that they don’t want to have to worry about angry parents if a kid leaves their water bottle on the field trip. But I’ve tried extra hard not to let my kid guzzle additional microplastics.

Kiddo’s elementary school hosted Dawn Donuts 🍩 today before school and it was so good to see her so happy and proud of her school and her friends and us. She barely had three bites of her donut, she was overwhelmed by excitement. 🥹
