Good morning . The birds (indoor and outdoor) are chirping, the sun is shining, it looks like it might be a beautiful day. Remember that it’s okay to take a break from the news (I’m telling myself as much as you.)

Happy Earth Month, ! Will you be participating in any kind of eco-challenge, large or small, this April?

Good morning ! Heads up, it’s April 1st/April Fools. Don’t get got today. 🤨

Dad is getting discharged from hospital. So very grateful today for that. I am also grateful for the kindness, empathy and generosity of who always have the ability, motivation, and bandwidth to lift others up with gestures big and small that make a massive difference.

Power is back on this morning, thank goodness. Hello Thursday and hello to you, . 👋

Good morning, .

Finished two books I’d been reading yesterday and now I’m facing the debacle of finishing either of these two epic fantasies: The Jasmine Throne (50% in already) by Tasha Suri, A Day of Fallen Night (30% into it) by Samantha Shannon—or starting the sci-fi thriller: Winter World by A.G. Riddle.

Or I could be the WORST and just find something new and not already on my physical or digital bookshelf. I haven’t been to the library in a while…

What have you got going on today, ? What's cooking? What errands are we running? What books are we reading? What shows are we binging? What existential crises are we suffering? What is warming our hearts? What is making us feel sad, mad, elated or excited?

How are you doing?

If I haven’t said it enough, I am so grateful to this of . Thank you all for being so full of empathy, reason, and listening ears (eyes, actually.) Thank you for always making space for me and for others when we need an outlet. I love you, .

The 6yo woke up so excited today but not for the reason you might think.

“Mommy!! I lost another tooth! 🦷 🧚 “

“That’s awesome! The tooth fairy will come tonight! That’s huge?”

“It is?”

“Do you know what today is?”

“Monday.”

“…aaaaand?”

“Winter break.”

“…aaaaand? Last night was…?”

“Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!!”

I wish you the Merriest of Christmases, . Ours is pretty darn lovely so far.

Good morning . I feel hungover, despite being a teetotaler. (Emotional hangover, maybe…)Yesterday was my last day at the main hospital before I transfer to the one closer to home. Immediately after work I went home to get ready for the fundraiser walk. I was the team captain and my team raised $29,048.15 for Leukemia and Lymphoma. I’m so proud of the work I did for my patients on and off the Leukemia department. 🎗️🏮

Good morning, and . Still without power but for the fall like temperatures overnight and the flickering candles my husband lit early this morning to get ready for work. Grateful for the extra blankets we had to drape over the little one so we didn’t have to wrestle the comforter out from under her to help keep her warm. Grateful to be off work today provide her love and support and good feelings before she goes off to kindergarten tomorrow.
