Good morning, #Cosonauts. A reminder from your friendly neighborhood healthcare worker:
Grill safety, sun safety and cookout food safety are just as important as fireworks safety today.
Keep family at a safe distance from the grill or fire pit, wear your sunblock, and donāt leave your food out in the hot sun all day (even if itās hot food.)
@Idissent I remember with horror and humor every July 4th as the year my teenage bestie grilled herself. By accident of course. But grilled herself. Fillet of Reggie.
@MotherDucker
It's almost funny the memories you just brought up. Oh my God lol
@Idissent We were at a PA state park with her family and mine. We, adolescents, were messing around, seeing who could keep their arm submerged to the elbow in the drinks cooler. I was out so fast. She and my sister were in it to win it. Sis tapped out and bestie left her arm in about 3 more seconds before whipping it out and dancing around in pain from the cold. Tripped over the end of the picnic table and went belly down on the portable grill. Thatās a smell you donāt soon forget.
@MotherDucker
Wow, seriously not what you expect to happen. I was such a dumbass as a kid though...
@MotherDucker
Some people don't know that today will be their last day with 10 fingers
