this whole piece is so obnoxiously presumptuous. "you only get one life, live it to the fullest!" why? what difference does it make? the assumption that living = Doing Stuff just causes me more stress. tell me I have a year to live. if I go see the Grand Canyon, I'm still gonna die. if I don't go see the Grand Canyon, I'm still gonna die. and either way, I can't take those memories with me. I will plunge into nothingness regardless. if I die tomorrow? good. I've been waiting.

the rest of the morning news is making me angry so let's focus on this. first I have to note how funny it is that the technophobic Alastor in Hazbin Hotel calls his rival "a clout-chasing mediocre video podcast."

I've already seen this phenomenon, namely Gag of the Millennial w/Roly & Luxeria, except at first I didn't even realize it was a podcast. I don't listen to podcasts & I found Gag to be a bit overly long-winded. Theirs is usually Reddit reactions...

it is quite telling that the anti-choice crowd is OVERWHELMINGLY male. really makes it clear what they're actually after.

first of all, Trump's "opposition" to a national ban is purely opportunistic. he doesn't have any actual principles other than amassing power & money.

2nd, WHY ARE YOU LEGITIMIZING THE ANTI-ABORTION MOVEMENT? WHY ARE YOU PUBLISHING THAT NAUSEATING, CYNICAL, DECEITFUL MISOGYNIST TRIPE? there is nothing moderate about the anti-abortion agenda. and to say "yeah they just need to pretend to be ok with legal abortion so they win elections THEN ban it nationwide" GO FUCK YOURSELF ASSHOLE

it's reminiscent of Beto's senate run... except Beto's not related to any legendary political activists. it sure would be nice if Gandhi wins, but the pull of authoritarianism is strong right now ☹️
