It only took 32 hours, 6 doses of Tylenol, a migraine rescue pill, three emesis bags, one dose of Benadryl, one dose of zofran, an IV bag of magnesium and saline, one more zofran and Tylenol, a restless two hour nap, a rose from our front yard rosebush from a sweet 6yo, 8 hrs of constant ice bags packing my head, and finally a second rescue pill. But I’m finally without #migraine #pain. 😮💨
Just in time to go to bed and fall into a deep sleep and hope there’s no rebound in the morning. 😓🤞
Spent the night in the ED. The worst migraine I’ve had in years. So bad I was vomiting. Because I’ve been doing fertility treatments I cannot take NSAIDs and the migraine got away from me in a bad way. Because of the fertility treatments they had to give me a weaker migraine cocktail in the ED. It’s better now than it was. And I’m home but it’s not totally gone yet. I’m so stressed it will come back before I can get to the neurologist on Thursday.

Hope all these women #VoteBlue. There are 74.6 million women in the civilian labor force. Almost 47 percent of U.S. workers are women. More than 39 percent of women work in occupations where women make up at least three-quarters of the workforce. Women own close to 10 million businesses, accounting for $1.4 trillion in receipts. This leads us straight back to the original conversation about "Man or Bear," which has nothing to do with bears. (Sorry, bears!) "Would you rather be stuck in a forest with a man or a bear?" is just another way of asking, "Are you afraid of men?" It's the same question I've been fielding for the entirety of my life as a solo female traveler. It's the same question that hovers over women all the time as we move through the world.
