Also how can anchovies just slip under the radar while everyone is dragging pineapple through the mud.

There are also swaths of people who convince themselves that baked cauliflower and cheese paste is as delicious as a pizza crust.

There are people who put the TOPPINGS under the sauce like absolute agents of chaos.

I’m just saying, if you want to come for pineapple, why stop there? Burn it all down!

(Also these look delicious. Let’s start with that banana curry pizza. 🤤 lovetoknow.com/food-drink/meal )

@MotherDucker If the toppings are under the sauce then they aren't toppings now are they? .... Your argument is invalid.

@MrGoat my good sir, I shan’t refer to them as bottomings. I’m a fucking lady.

@MrGoat although, I suppose they’d technically be middlings. 😅

@MotherDucker Filling would be the word you're looking for in the world of cooking yes? =D

@MrGoat this is a and we live in a society where you can never not be right. It’s totally unacceptable to admit defeat even in the glaring light of one’s own glaring faux pas.

I’m digging my heels in on middlings!

@MotherDucker Cauliflower is the least bad of the gluten free crust options, but it is DEFINITELY not as good as wheat crust.

It's just the crust that ruins the rest of the pizza least.

(I stopped eating sandwiches because there is no gluten free bread that doesn't make the rest of the sandwich worse.)

@danialexis have you tried Schar gluten free? Their ciabattas and pizza crusts are the most convincing gf swaps I’ve ever tried.

@MotherDucker I had one last night! It was acceptable.

Against the Grain is my personal favorite packaged, but these days I usually make my own.

@danialexis I make my own GF bagels which make nice pizza bagels. But I haven’t found an acceptable sandwich bread recipe I like well enough yet. Do you do bread machine or do you put that elbow grease into it?

@MotherDucker For pizza crust, I just use a cracker recipe. I don't make bread because I've never liked bread. It was kind of a relief to get to stop eating it, honestly.

(And we handmade all our bread when I was a kid so it's not like I don't know what fresh homemade bread tastes like.)

I've never used a bread machine. Honestly don't see the point. Kneading was how I got my teen rage out.
