I can think of one possible good thing here -- Musk is making money on Starlink, and if Ukraine folds, he not only loses that market, it reinforces the perception that he's working for Moscow. He'd lose business from just about all the countries that are not having Moscow pay for their internet.
While you're thinking about what fascist businesses you're NOT going to patronize, make sure you direct some patronage to the nonprofit media outlets that did not go along with sanewashing Trump.
Subscribe if you can afford it, or send them a little donation if that's all you can do. They can take those statistics to get donations from large foundations. The number of donors who give to them is as important as the amount they gave when they want to be taken seriously.
On the plus side, do you think Kennedy will care if your local weed merchant imports it from countries that don't recognize US patents and sets up his own dispensary to sell it at generic prices alongside shrooms and MDMA?
Hi.
Stop blaming Democrats.
That's the kind of bullshit that only helps the Orange Menace to further divide us. #sadbuttrue
Oh, please, serve raw milk at all Republican gatherings.
That's easy enough. I don't trust anything he's associated with to be safe to use.
Beyond me how any Swiftees were still there by this time. Only reason I haven't deleted my inactive accounts is to keep the usernames from being recycled.
I live in a 100-year old house. The bedrooms had no closets originally. They were in the hall outside the rooms. (There are closets built into the bedrooms now, but clearly not original.)
When my kid brought home bedbugs from a sleepover, I understood why. Much easier to cope with the cleanup in the pre-pesticide era if you didn't keep your clothes where you slept.
A Democrat wouldn't aim at him. They'd go for Vance, and let the GOP spend four years trying to agree on a new VP appointment, while Trump's appointees keep leaving or being fired.
I'm so sorry for your loss.
But do not blame yourself for an early miscarriage. There are so many things that have to go right to have a successful pregnancy, 20% of people who know they're pregnant miscarry, and 80% of fertilized eggs never make it.
Medical women often wait for after 12 weeks before revealing a pregnancy, knowing that before that, there is such a high chance some randomness will end the pregnancy.
It's also possible people saw the bottles of pain killers and didn't consider all the other options, like a blood clot in the lungs lowering oxygen, a heart attack causing poor circulation, or a low blood sugar reaction. Older people can also get loopy from severe infections.

Yeah, we've all seen people who believe that, that's why the story is being shared so widely -- it's completely believable.
Most of those folks aren't paying for ACA coverage. They want to take their chances going bare, but they'll be the first ones expecting Medicaid to pay for their hospital bills.
No one thinks about what happens if the ambulance takes them to a hospital that doesn't have a neurosurgeon, and the ambulances and other hospitals don't have to accept an uninsured patient in transfer to a hospital that does.

How many times will they have to be late for work because someone wanted to check their citizenship, and doesn't realize Puerto Rico isn't a foreign country?
There are very few government controls on drug prices now. Insulin will be a big hit, but as far as most others, they're already charging what the market will bear.
The Biden administration chose ten drugs to price-limit, but the drug companies are playing games like discontinuing the price-limited drugs. We won't make progress, but most people won't notice the sliding backward.
Generic prices depend on the popularity of the drug -- lots of companies making it, lower prices.

Everyone is reposting the same story, but no one has a company name or even a town. If all the employees were informed, it's bound to leak out what company it is eventually.

Things have been much worse in the US (slavery, Indian genocide), and we've put it behind us, at least officially.
I'm more worried about the environmental impact. We don't have 4 years to waste.
I think it's apocryphal.
But I also think factory owners are thinking whether they can use this excuse to not pay bonuses.
