For anyone who might be interested in where I've been...
In 2015, I was diagnosed with stage 4 COPD and given no more than 4 more years to live. Somehow I beat those odds until this past spring, when my lungs suddenly began to fail. My pulmonologist has no more drugs for me to try and his only suggestion is that I go on oxygen 24/7 to put off suffocating for a while.

Simultaneously, Novartis withdrew my financial assistance for COSENTYX which will run out on 12/31. There's only one drug manufacturer left who may offer me financial assistance for their drug (Skyrizi) at this point, and so far I haven't been approved. If that doesn't come through, I'm left with no further treatment for my psoriatic arthritis or psoriasis.
And given the country's descent into fascism, I expect to lose Medicare (or be priced out of it) in the near future.
