I wish there was a setting for YouTube to filter out all music "reaction" videos. They make me want to scream because they pause the music every 10 to 20 seconds and talk so much you forget what just happened in the song.

This song sets up a hell of a groove, but you will NOT be ready for the funk to drop in from left field a few minutes in.

Well, I may finally have found a keyboard that can beat up my Model M.

Whoever this guy is, he should be a guest on every major news network. People need to be smacked down for their bullshit.

So my take on her is that I love that she's sticking it to the big record labels and think she's generally a good person. But I've never been much of a fan of her music, and most of her recent stuff is kind of the same thematic formula of getting drunk after breakups. She's one of many musicians people gush over without justification (IMO), but she is certainly better than the crap on the top Spotify streams or Billboard Hot 100.

Wouldn't you know it - I'm seasoning my cast iron at 500°F now (as opposed to the 375° I was trying earlier) and it's turning the proper color.

I grabbed all these musician/teacher costume parodies from here, but I'm reposting them anyway because they're hilarious.

For the first time ever, I won't be home to hand out Halloween candy. I've got
choir rehearsal all through trick or treat hours. So I put out a bowl of candy on a card table with a "Pick 2" sign. What's the worst that could happen?

Actually, the worst is going to be the dogs freaking out for hours while people parade by the house and I'm not there to comfort them.
