Predictably, idiots on social media are criticizing Ed Sheeran for this, when he had absolutely nothing to do with the problem.

One of my best friends flew to Vegas to see Ed Sheeran tonight at Allegiant Stadium. The concert had to be cancelled last minute, so late that they were turning people away at the stadium.

Apparently there was a loadout issue making the stage unsafe. They were not able to resolve the issue in time and had to cancel.

Here's the kicker. No refunds offered, but tickets will be honored at the rescheduled show on October 28. Lots of people won't be able to make it, I'd guess.

This is the most gorgeous tone on trumpet I've ever heard. And what phrasing and dynamic control!

The piano department where I did my undergrad had its own separate bank of practice rooms that were a somewhat comfortable temp, each with a small Steinway grand. You had to go to the front desk every week and reserve a specific room and block of time.

It annoyed me greatly that another piano major who was in my year would reserve 2-hour blocks, but mostly drink tea and chat with her friends with occasional moments of touching the instrument, while I actually wanted to practice.

My #cosomusicians here will get this.
