One of my best friends flew to Vegas to see Ed Sheeran tonight at Allegiant Stadium. The concert had to be cancelled last minute, so late that they were turning people away at the stadium.

Apparently there was a loadout issue making the stage unsafe. They were not able to resolve the issue in time and had to cancel.

Here's the kicker. No refunds offered, but tickets will be honored at the rescheduled show on October 28. Lots of people won't be able to make it, I'd guess.

Predictably, idiots on social media are criticizing Ed Sheeran for this, when he had absolutely nothing to do with the problem.

@voltronic
Who's job was it to deal with the Loadout / stage ?
Venues ?

@Vikky @voltronic

Depends greatly on the venue and tour size.

Usually a producer and/or production company is hired and they contract a professional stage building company.

@phase knows more about that end of the business than I do. I was just a grunt a long time ago.
