Some quick notes...

The IDF did not close the Rafah Crossing when they took control of the Gaza side of the crossing. Egypt closed their side of the Rafah Crossing (again).

The IDF did not close the Kerem Shalom Crossing either. Hamas did that by repeatedly shelling and rocketing it. Israel keeps re-opening that crossing after repairs.

The IDF did not close the newly opened Erez Crossing either. Hamas did that by repeatedly shelling it.

Hamas has shelled the new USN pier 4 times, not 2.

Here’s some flowers for all you mommas out there that didn’t receive any 💐💕❤️ You are loved and appreciated ❤️

@Render
So is the thinking that IDF did in fact hit the convoy because it appeared that those vehicles were no longer carrying WCK personnel?

Or is there not even enough info to speculate?

@Render
This has a creepy number of parallels to the World Central Kitchen incident.

Do we know anything else about what actually happened there?

@praet0rian
1. Test all runs when my new remote tester arrives. Repair punches and terminations as needed. Wireguard test for throughput.

2. Re-run cat6 to office. Might need pro help for that as most of the area is finished and as I said the existing cable is stapled.

3. Drop to second AP also suspect - repeat above.

4. Possibly replace faulty equipment (2 x Netgear R7800 running DDWRT, one as gateway, the other as AP). Friend gave me a new RAX80 for testing.

@Sr0bi
I have a Klein cable tester with remote on the way, and my buddy is going to help me get Wireguard set up to do throughput testing to different outlets.

@praet0rian
I'm mostly pissed at myself that I didn't discover this within the 1yr builder warranty.

@Sr0bi
I told all this to my friend across the street who is a former systems engineer for a major ISP, and he was horrified.

@Sr0bi
They used the same large hammer-in staples you use on Romex. In the unfinished mechanical room of my basement, none of those are holding the cable tight to the joists but who knows what they did inside the walls?

What's especially maddening is that I can see from the unfinished portion of the basement that this cat5 was pulled with a cat6 alongside it, which goes to the outlet directly above it on the main floor. An outlet I never use, as that room is dedicated to piano things.

Oh, and the best part is that all of these cables are stapled to the joists / studs as though they were Romex. So rather than pull through a replacement myself, I might have to hire a pro to do it. 🤬

My house is less than 10 years old. The standard builders package included a cat5 run to every room, but I paid extra for them to do cat6 instead.

After upgrading my internet service a year or so ago, I had been experiencing random disconnects and link speed slowdowns to my desktop PC in my basement office area.

Today I traced all the wires in the house. The electrician installed cat6 everywhere, except two runs were cat5. Guess where one of them was?

@Esther
Both of them are typically unfazed. I know others have dogs that will howl and try to match pitch of the instrument they're hearing.

@Esther
Thank you for helping save this sweet boy. One of mine is a Kentucky rescue.
