@opie
When I was at the liquor store a couple weeks ago to buy more Bluecoat, I asked if there were any Jen's recommended for drinking straight up. The guy let me taste this and I immediately bought a bottle it's spectacular.

@Loffreni
2oz Bluecoat, over ice in a pint glass, Fever Tree tonic, rosemary sprig. Currently on my second of those.

Or I will do the same thing with fever tree ginger beer, which I think I like even better.

@Cosmichomicide
Well I'm mostly a whiskey (bourbon, rye) guy if we're talking spirits. But I never mix any of my whiskeys; my stuff is neat only.

@opie
Bluecoat, made in Philly. My current favorite for cocktails.

I (thought) I hated gin until a couple months ago.

Gin drunk. (The drunk of sophisticated people.)

I actively loathe using regular mice. Laptop touchpads are not my friend either.

@voltronic

Now would be a good time to make a new habit of using a URL expander before clicking on any link. Example: copy that mystery link into the box on this website
checkshorturl.com/

@EnochianEntropy
At least those are actually ergonomic.

I've been Team Thumb Ball for well over 20 years. Mostly the different iterations of Logitech TrackMan. It's the most comfortable / least RSI potential for me.

I was just about to say: That looks far more ergonomic than the original iMac mouse.

^ If you had nefarious intent, It would take no more than a couple minutes to grab a photo of KH, write a couple paragraphs, and add a link to your malware deployment server. This would be a low-sophistication attack, relatively speaking.

^^ Boosting this because wouldn't you know it, I received this earlier today.

It sure looks and sounds legit, but there is ***no f-ing way*** I'm clicking on that sketchy-looking link.

PSA: Don't click on any links you receive from unsolicited political fundraising campaigns. You never know where or what that link will lead to.

Delete the message and block the sender. If you want to make a donation to something, you know where to go for it.

This is one of those scenes that just never gets old. Like The Godfather baptism scene.

@SaltyVeruca @ecksmc
It was always very problematic, and then the Citizens United SCOTUS decision made it far worse.

Honestly I'm more upset by the obscene amounts of money given to professional athletes, but only in certain sports. Contracts in the hundreds of millions of dollars. We could end poverty and hunger worldwide. Every sport should have strict salary caps and protein should be required to give a substantial chunk of their revenue to charitable organizations.

@Beanc
Yeah I did not do that when the house was built and now things are all different colors depending on the foot traffic. Not renovating anytime soon though, and next time I'll just pick a slightly darker color to start with and seal the lines.

I guarantee the 2024 DNC won't be anywhere near the shitshow the 2016 DNC was. I was there in person for the first night, and it was a zoo. Jill Stein leading her crazies in immature stupidity outside the convention, Susan Sarandon leading her crazies in immature stupidity inside the convention, Sanders delegates and supporters booing and cat calling through many of the speeches. Disarray on full display; lots of adults behaving badly.
