If you haven't seen any of their ads maybe take a look regardless of your religious beliefs. They clearly show Trump as the lying hypocrite that he is. He will not get as many evangelical votes as last time. In a perfect world he would get zero.

@CinnamonGirlE @MidnightRider On the point of blaming religion though, I think the situation is a bit more complex. Whenever religion, and by this I specifically mean Christianity, becomes dominant in a society to the point of influencing government affairs, it becomes corrupt. Or rather, corrupt people who want power abuse it. That's what we're seeing again.

Separation of church and state is important but a better solution is for authentic christianity to root out the corruption.

Back in the 2022 "red wave" election the Republicans dumped dozens of Republican-favorable polls into the public pool in the final weeks of the election. They're doing it again this time. Why? Because they're losing. It's voter suppression.
