@MidnightRider @TrueBloodNet @corlin I split evolution and into two camps: those affecting existing life which all function in a regulatory capacity and those that create new life. All of our evidence for evolution comes from the former.

Don't. Feed. The. Trolls.
I know it's in your nature to be kind and explain. It's in mine as well. But, such people prey on that to frustrate us and waste our time and energy. They are not asking questions in good-faith. They are deliberately trying to wear us down. It is a tactic from the KGB playbook and it is quite effective.
It is also THE oldest trick in THE book to question truth when there was no doubt before.

@JerichoTaskerDeaux I find that most sensational science "news" is garbage. If you want real science news get it from a science journal. That's where scientists publish their findings. The regular news almost always gets it wrong and they write their articles to maximize the sensationalism, the truth and the details be damned.
For example, this isn't scientific writing. You don't start with a conclusion. You see what the data tells you. This is an assumption that has not been proven.

Once fascists start stripping people’s rights, they ALWAYS keep at it. Their extremism gives them a rush, and when the rush fades, they need to get another more potent fix. Today’s extremism is boring and banal tomorrow. History shows us this clearly. They start by marginalizing the “powerless”. Before long, people start "disappearing" by shipping them off to camps or throwing them out of planes.Tragically, history also teaches us that fascist upwellings generally end in paroxysms of violence.

As we approach the holiest day in the year for many Christians, kindly refrain from raging against Christianity during this time. It seems like some are making a point to be louder about it right now. Not only does that falsely generalize the practices of many different faith denominations, it is cruel to those who are celebrating a special observance in their faith and undermines any point you may be trying to make.
