We all accept that Donald #Trump lies. His MAGA followers also lie. The greater Republican party right now is built on lies. So when they claim to represent #Christianity, why do you believe them?

You speak of conditioning but aren't you saying that science has all of the answers when it doesn't? You have placed your faith in science rather than in a Creator.
@danielbsmith Actually, you're making an assumption about me that is incorrect. I believe in God, but not because of religious indoctrination, but because of other personal reasons. I simply do not trust that a book written and rewritten over centuries by powerful men, can be trusted as the truth. I don't rely on it for my truths.
@danielbsmith Thank you for writing this. I have seen a lot of hate towards Christians and #Christianity today, even here on CoSo. There is a huge misunderstanding on exactly what is means to be a Christian in today’s world. The Republican Party is claiming to be the party of faith but most of them have not even read the Bible or attended a church service. Jesus would not approve of the Republican Party right now. Truth be know he probably wouldn’t approve of the Democratic Party either.

@danielbsmith Religious people have been conditioned from childhood, to being coerced into believing that the contents of a book, that has been written, and rewritten by powerful men throughout history, is the unerring word of a God that science can't prove the existence of. Under that kind of conditioning, they'll believe anything.
