@kel @AkomoCombine @Minholkin I must admit to knowing little about Mastodon other than I used to use it to access CoSo before CoSo had its own app. I thought it was just either an Open or Composite API designed to access multiple websites. Never really thought of it as a stand-alone service/website. People seem to be flocking to it right now with some luminaries touting they've moved there and encouraging their followers to set up accounts there..shrug..not going there, like it here 🙂

@GirlMeetsBrass Mine had total control over me as well...not only was he my boss for nearly 5 years he was also my landlord. When it became clear I was no longer willing to play exactly by his rules he evicted me!! I can't begin to express the feelings your post brought up in me!

@MeTheUnfiltered There is absofuckinglutely NOTHING to negotiate! None of the countries supporting Ukraine wants them to appear willing to negotiate with the country that invaded their sovereign nation, that is committing war crimes by targeting civilians!! No quarter!! Fuck that!!

@OriginalSinner Mitchell's disdain for democrats has been much more obvious as she's struggling with whatever her health issues are, she used to hide it much better. I have no effing clue what Todd has on MSNBC that they haven't fired him. He's truly just awful.

@OriginalSinner Apparently she was a bit more outspoken with her opinions than MSNBC cared for both on her show and in other media and guess she'd been asked to calm it down prior to her statement about FL looking like the dick of country and suggesting castration (which makes no sense since castration doesn't involve removing the penis but I digress) for which the network apparently got major flak. Mitchell is married to the former head of the Federal Reserve so has friends in high places.

@OriginalSinner Andrea needs to retire...it's pretty clear she's suffered strokes or TIAs and her delivery of questions is halting and painful. I was so glad when they took the daily MTP show away so I didn't have to switch channels anymore in his old time-slot. I liked Cross okay, her content and views were relatable and she was starting to develop the polish she initially lacked *but* I couldn't handle her voice (by other's comments I wasn't alone in that) so stopped watching her show.

@GirlMeetsBrass Have experienced something remarkably similar and it takes quite a while to extricate yourself from the manipulations and machinations of the person you loved (mine was a 5 year relationship with a malignant narcissist, hell on wheels emotional sadist who eventually became physically abusive too , and super control freak) even just getting away from them is tough. Then you get the call informing you they've died and it starts the inner turmoil going again but it's also freeing.

@Ginlou10 She's a lovely tortie 😺..we have sister cats that have Picasso faces too..one is a dilute calico (Chi pronounced Kai) the other a dark calico (Mira) they were almost Chimera kitties thus their names. We lost our beautiful medium furred tortie, Minxie, in 2018 she also had a Picasso face. Happy Caturday!
