This is where I'm at. Think at this point I'm just going to cook with them rather than do more seasoning cycles.

There are so many seasoning methods out there, but I've been using the one recommended by Lodge which is a coating of canola oil, 375°F for an hour cycle at a time. Maybe the darker colors only come with higher temps but I don't feel like running my oven that hot for that long right now.

I'm on my third round of seasoning a couple old Lodge cast iron pans given to me by a friend. They were so crusty from campfire cooking that I stripped them down to bare metal with a paint stripping wheel and then wire wheel.

I've been cooking on the smaller one here and there already. I can't get them to turn that typical dark black color. It's more of a golden caramel coating. But I think it's still working. They certainly aren't rusting.

I've been going through #StarTrek Discovery, and just started on season 4. Never encountered a problem playing any episode of any other show before, but all of ep4 will only play with a blacked out screen unless I disable my pi-hole blocking while starting the episode, allowing the commercials to play.

I've encountered this before with the History Channel app, but it's odd that I didn't have to do this with earlier seasons.

Serious question: When did the "Free Palestine" movement on US college campuses flip to completely ignoring the continued atrocities being committed by Hamas, PIJ, and other similar orgs? I don't remember their messages being like this years ago.

The cherry picked talking points and outright lies being blasted out to our college students read like a state-sponsored disinfo campaign.
