Three years ago, introduced a privacy-enhancing feature that hid the Wi-Fi address of iPhones and iPads when they joined a network. On Wednesday, the world learned that the feature has never worked as advertised.

@voltronic Gonna have to read this, because my router has trouble tracking my iPhone's MAC address.

@voltronic In fact, every now and then I just had to turn it off to ensure that my iPhone performed right on my network.
