Laptop sticker poll: should I let the Doors of Durin stand alone, or add these others?

Voting:

The mellyn have spoken! The Doors shall stand alone.

@Tarnagh
I was thinking the same thing. Especially since that sticker wound up being larger than I anticipated. I think the Maxxel One is going on my pelican case that I store my microphones in.

@voltronic

the Maxell ad is classic--wore the t-shirt yesterday.

@voltronic

i was just thinking about the TV commercial the other day. nice 60 second story of what defines importance.

@voltronic , I'm kinda torn. Doors only has more visual impact, but I'm a sucker for Ludacris Speed. 🤓

@LadyZurk
Ludacris Speed! 😂

The Doors were bought specifically for this laptop. I Void Warranties I received from Jiles G, one of my favorite hardware hackers. The others were bought on a Redbubble sale a long time ago.

@voltronic , apparently I need to take my spellchecker out behind the woodshed... but that was a hilarious slip up. 🤣 🥰

@voltronic The perfect laptop sticker for a High Tech Low Life.

@EnochianEntropy
This is from a corner of Pop culture I'm not familiar with.

@voltronic Snow Crash is also in the group, but Neuromancer really conveys the hopeless glittering dystopia that Cyberpunk is.

@EnochianEntropy @voltronic Neuromancer is so good! Arguably the most influential sci-fi novel in the 20th century.

@InvaderGzim I prefer Neuromancer to Snow Crash, but they're both important origins for the genre.

@voltronic

@EnochianEntropy @voltronic My favorite way back when I first read them was Diamond Age...

Planning on rereading...

@AskTheDevil @InvaderGzim @voltronic Haven't read Diamond Age, but I've read Cryptonomicon about 300 times (seriously).
