Maybe it's just me, but I get mad every time I view a dating profile where there are children's faces in full view. Nothing makes me pass on a profile faster, but I want to reach through the internet and smack the person for potentially putting their children at risk. It's so irresponsible.

It's shocking that some people here still think the assassination attempt in Butler, PA was staged. Never mind the one bystander dead and two others critically injured. I guess they were 'acceptable losses' for the photo op?

A few things which may or may not have played a factor in this working as well as it did:

1. I went out and bought high gluten bread flour even though I already had a lot of all purpose in the house. And of course I sifted.

2. I bought Italian dry yeast rather than just using the standard stuff at the grocery store.

3. I ignored the American measurements and weighed everything.

Today was my first attempt at making bread, and it came out pretty damn perfect. This made an outstanding grilled cheese sandwich.

^ I started using Finale way back on version 3.0. I switched to Sibelius after finding it much easier to use, and I was there from v. 5 to 7, until Avid (owners of Pro Tools) bought the company and sacked the original UK development team.

That team was hired by Steinberg where they began work a clean-sheet competitor. That work became Dorico. I immediately jumped over to that app upon its first release and have been there ever since.
