Yes, all handspun and homedyed wool, lots of Herdwick breed but a few others too. Oh, and some of the warp wool is plyed with some Kevlar yarn I found in the charity shop as an experiment.
It'll be a rug like this one (but brighter colours) backed with a coffee sack as long as I've got the size right on the loom!
Hopefully the work stuff will work out to my advantage. I'm in a union and they're helping and advising me. Fingers crossed. At lot of waiting and anxiety though.
Ok for those who have a choice and dont rely on medical devices or electric only heating .. oh, and have a smart meter...
Spouse has gone into "Dad mode" here so we're already cutting usage 😂

Last night, I used 100 digits of pi as a test post, but it wasn't a complete coincidence.
I've been working on a scarf with stripe widths weighted by consecutive digits of pi. I started with the third digit (4). The brown stripe widths are invariant.
The yarn is my handspun, and probably from a few years back. I have no idea what the original plan was.

I've seen a bunch of new members confused about how followers/following works here.
First of all, we don't care. The number of F/F isn't important.
At CoSo, who you follow is your choice, based on who engages on topics you find interesting. All following does is put that person's toots in the My friends column so you can see them easier.
It's the same with members following you. You probably won't get followers at first. We want to see who you are and what you have to say before we follow.

Today is going to be all about #weaving in the sun and some #selfcare...
I'm not having the best of times atm. Some very badly managed organisational change (and possibly some bias... Conscious and unconscious...) means my job is being deleted and I was unsuccessful in the internal selection process for the higher graded job that is a partial replacement for my current role... So I'm now facing redundancy (layoff) after 18 years at the same place...
If anyone is hiring... Lol 😂☕

@phase some over on birdsite have posted their lockedaccount screens :( This is just asswipe dick waving but real people will suffer. I hope they get a mega class action together and sue the tits off him for breaking employment law.

@phase I'm waiting for my notice of redundancy atm (not from twitter I hasten to add plus in the so diff rules) and it's hard enough when a company handle things properly but this is just shite and shows the utter contempt that EM and his ilk have for "ordinary people" - ie those of us who have to do paid work to live..
@phase pretty much the same as various other credible sources are saying... Seems to be riding roughshod over CA employment law in this action too
