@homebird lol. I'm taking advantage of the solar gain at the back if the house and laying in the sun like a cat :).
@ceb Happy Friday to you :)
@homebird def chilliest night so far but a glorious morning :)
It's a bit weird .. I'm on Android using browser... getting Cloudflare page via Edge, all ok via Firefox, Chrome just hangs still..

First night of #UK proper frost and the gritters are out in force :)
Good morning CoSo. Nice to be here after a fair few access errors.
Presumably @th3j35t3r has kicked some virtual arses to get things sorted again? Thank you J :)

#travel This bus service from London to Calcutta (Kolkata) is considered to have been the longest bus route in the world.
The service, which was started in 1957 and operated by Albert Travel, was routed to India continuing after the UK, to Belgium, through Europe via Yugoslavia, Turkey, Iran, Afghanistan and West Pakistan. After entering India, it eventually reached Calcutta via New Delhi, Agra, Allahabad and Banaras. Fifty days! (approximate)
@BlueVoter24 my mum and stepdad travelled back to the UK overland via bus on a very similar route from India in about 1973...
Totally ..
I can see at least 4 from where I'm sat

Funny that 😅😂
Think the village pub in Warcop was the Chamley Arms but there was also the Sandford Arms not far away...
Grand Prix Club was here - upstairs from Grand Prix Services..
Best places ever to see green wellies on a dance floor...
Nobody in their right minds would actually want to remember Brough tbh...
@process the transfer of all that wealth upwards as a result of corrupt Tory contracts in the pandemic didn't help either...
@Mauve_matelot @FrankCannon @stueytheround
I grew up on North Stainmore, school in Kirkby Stephen, spent a fair bit of time in Appleby, a trip to Penrith was a major excursion and Barney was a proper treat!!!
@FrankCannon @Mauve_matelot @stueytheround
Was that in the 80s by any chance? Do you remember the Saturday Night Fever esque dance floor??
@FrankCannon @Mauve_matelot @stueytheround
No way!!! The Grand Prix Club was in Brough not Penrith though .. I grew up near there and I might have done the odd bit of underage drinking in Brough Club as it was also known
Looscaunagh Lough. On the Ring of Kerry, high up over the town of Killarney on the edge of the National Park is lovely sight to cycle your bike along - albeit getting up there is an effort. My route was via Molls Gaps. I painted this 4 years ago. #art
Not a sheep. Very random. Baa. ADHD
I make stuff and sometimes post pics of the stuff.
I currently work in IT but who knows for how much longer...
