Lemon polenta cake cooked in multicooker :)

This recipe but with 100g of the ground almonds replaced with flour partly because it makes it easier to get out of the pan, partly because I only had 100g almonds :)

Tidying the store cupboard and am relieved to report we won't be running out of anytime soon :)

Happy Thanksgiving holiday for those who celebrate :)

Stretching this rug to go on the coffee sack backing. I like using coffee sacks to back rugs but sometimes it can be tricky getting them to fit

!

Lovely and sunny here but a chilly start.

Very pleased that my newly made padded hot water bottle cover kept the heat in all night so once I'd run downstairs to put the on I could warm my feet on it when I got back into bed :)

Late to you all!

Been out for a blood test and some shopping this morning and just got back into the house before the November Monsoon rains started... Eh what?! Honestly, it's like Singapore rain, just not as warm...

Must be time for more and here's a bit of last night's experiment for eye candy :)

Good Morning CoSo and with

Started bright but cold here but now looking like a snowy sky. Unlikely to actually snow though as it's Bristol....

Here's a thought for this morning...

I am pretty bad at finishing stuff though... So here is another mostly finished

Love the way this colour looks in the sunlight and how it shows off some of the textures too :)

The first I ever made 😍. In 2017 or 18...

Was woven on a rigid heddle loom which I hadn't set up properly so the warp kept detensioning which was very frustrating! But I persevered and I still love this particular piece although it mainly gets used as a throw not a rug as the later ones are much more durable and suited to being walked on :)

Handspun wool weft with a cotton warp :)

Combo and beetle

Started this ages ago but just getting round to finishing and framing. It's one of a series so I'm sure I'll post more

My mum was a really skilled embroiderer and she is my inspiration:)

Wish me luck... I've at least one duvet cover to change today ...

My florist friend has a beautiful rescue dog called Holly who stays in the shop basement during the day, next to her radiator and tucked up in her bed as she's getting on a bit and feels the cold. She's gorgeous in every way (except for her dog breath when she licks your face. 😂)

Out for a little walk to local park. Lovely view, birds are singing, huge smell of fox and a tiny bit of drizzle just starting

everyone

Negative UK growth *not* caused by Brexit says idiot chancellor of the Exchequer (well, maybe a little bit, but not much at all...)

Yep. The future will go well with that level of delusion for sure. .
