@Gord02 when I used to do job counseling with people if they didn’t get the job, I used to ask them if they inquired why. Just sent a nice little note to the employer and said I really appreciate you considering me for this position. Is there anything I could’ve done during the interview that would’ve made a difference?

@Gord02 Maybe she needs time to decompress. Maybe after a week of connection she decided that it’s just not working for her with you. I don’t really know, but I do know that being concerned about not being worthy of love after a week is a little extreme.

Do you have symptoms of depression? If so, have you considered seeing somebody about it? These are all shots in the dark.

Women tend to have more friends and and are not dependent him in for socialization. Is that it? 🤷‍♀️

@Gord02 you are talking about being unworthy of love in a week? Dating site or IRL meet? Is she an introvert? Have a job? Family? Friends? A life?

I was not a relationship counselor when I was in social work, but when I was in the dating game (I quit. It was exhausting) I found out men thought I connected with them because I listened to them and they decided it meant I was fascinated. I’m an introvert who presents more like an extrovert. I had a job, life, a family.

@Tattoomonkey29 I am frequently thrilled that I don’t even own a television. I can’t imagine why anybody would want to watch that shit unless they were in the media. Most of the time I purposefully avoid any information about him other than who is suing him or prosecuting him now. Every time we buy into this it gives a narcissist more attention.

Opened up the dishwasher and pondered if this was Jenga being played—or rather, after it failed. 😆

Unloaded dishwasher. Reloaded it Tetris style, added more dishes. Realized they hadn't added dishwashing pod. Pod in. Dishwasher loaded. Washed one dish by hand.

Pondered the death of my favorite pot that had boiled potatoes that burned to a crisp in it.

I was gently attempting to untangle the difference between liability and guilt for a guy who clearly didn't understand the difference between criminal and civil law. Explaining this is something I taught my law students back in the day and he went haywire.

#Randomthoughts Neither my sister (who lives here half the year) nor her son (visiting) put water in the Keurig, despite using it several times a day. The water pitcher sits next to it. Both know how to fill a pitcher.

I'm presently on (silent) strike. After almost a week of being a house elf like Dobby who puts butter in empty butter dishes, pours water, finds wmpty cartons in the fridge, etc. I am waiting to see how long it takes for two adults to adult.

@kel not only did the Democrats not have enough votes during the last 40 years to be able to pass a gun legislation. It hasn’t been a huge problem and she’ll maybe the last 20 years. Not only that, but earlier the Democrats were essentially the Republicans. Remember when they switched sides around the time of Nixon’s southern strategy? Before then I tended to vote Republican, but then the Republicans became the Democrats and the Democrats became the Republicans. Strom Thurmond became GOP.

@CinnamonGirlE If you get to the East Coast drive Ocean Blvd. Very crowded during summer. Nice in early spring and in autumn. I like the areas north of Hampton, even north of Rye Beach. I have scenes from the second book in my series near Odiornes Point and, though you can't see them from shore, the Isle of Shoals (immortalized by Tim Janis) is out there. There are cliffs and sand beaches with tidal pools. The water is always chilly so you'd need a wet or dry suit.

@DMArt55555 I put it in a gallon container and added water, shoot it up and put in on the flower beds. We got about an inch of rain so it should be good. Also put some on the potted plants that had just been watered.

Be sure to check your packages that come with those little bags to keep things cold. I threw a couple of them out before I realized that the company sending me these things were sending me frozen plant food. It could be open and run down the drain or you can mix it with water and give it to your plants. I have plants I mix them with water and now I feel bad about the ones I threw away. .
