@CinnamonGirlE If you get to the East Coast drive Ocean Blvd. Very crowded during summer. Nice in early spring and in autumn. I like the areas north of Hampton, even north of Rye Beach. I have scenes from the second book in my series near Odiornes Point and, though you can't see them from shore, the Isle of Shoals (immortalized by Tim Janis) is out there. There are cliffs and sand beaches with tidal pools. The water is always chilly so you'd need a wet or dry suit.
