Jaime Harrison smashed Beto's campaign contribution record. Amy McGrath was a big recipient of late campaign donations, as was Sara Gideon.

None had enough time to spend the money that came in. And, of course, none won.

At this point in the campaign, the local and state candidates are scraping for quarters in the seats of the vans to buy gas. 🤷

Yes, doing me, I switched to state and local contributions.

New approach to book burning and banning from the NeoPuritans (never forget that TWO countries sent those narrowminded jackasses on their way) - just reclassify history you don't like as fiction. And make it so you can't be appealed.

Texas, y'all are deeply fucked up.

How do you keep Canadian bacon from curling?

Take away its broom.

I'm so sorry. This struck me as hysterical for some reason. 😂🤣😂🥌

Two concrete consumer protections from the Biden-Harris administration, the FTC, and Lina Khan - "Click to Cancel" and now...

Fake reviews.

This is government actually working.

@feloneouscat

But very little of that reaches the Democrat running in a blood red district to have ballot representation. Or the school board candidate running against a book banner.

You can stop donating to the big campaigns. They have more money than time to spend it.

Donate to the local and state campaigns. They are far more likely to be running short or worrying about overextending.

Read the article. Talk this up.

It's a huge issue for pretty much everyone and explains a lot of what is wrong with pharmacies, drug prices, etc.

Also, Mark Cuban is all over this. We Support the local independent pharmacy, but would go costplusdrugs in a heartbeat if they closed.

This is the single most important issue of the election, affecting more people, rural and urban, than any other.

My data should not change ownership when a company is sold or under new leadership. It's my data.

Sure, you can change the TOS going forward, but retroactive? Nope. Still, that's what is happening.

Buy enough data points and you can micro target me for ads, investigations, harassment, stalking, any number of things.

And long cookie acceptance lists? Still puts the burden on the user. Go read the changes to our privacy policy or TOS, same thing.

What I really want protected - my privacy and my rights.

The second would require ratification of the ERA and would also codify the majority of LGBTQ rights with respect to adoption, marriage, etc.

The first isn't what you think, but it does include many healthcare concerns - we need to establish a Constitutional right to data privacy. Not to be bought, sold, and analyzed without consent or affirmative legislation.

Use of data should be the exception, not the default.

@catlynne333

Well, what can she do? It was disrespectful and weird (very), but the alternative is insisting Arnie was driving a smaller club and dragging it out nearly a decade after your father's death?

She should have said "No comment", but this is pretty close.

What was anyone hoping to get from asking her? It was still a grotesque story from anyone, much less a candidate. That part is the story, not reaction pieces.

I mean, if she had confirmed Arnie had a two Palmer... 🫨

@POOetryma

There is absolutely a one legged man joke in here somewhere. 😂🤣😂

I get it now - Palmer is the Cocktober surprise.

I'll show myself out.

Nope. Arnold Palmer's dick. Not on the bingo card.

And, what the ever living fuck? 😬

Looks like masking and social distancing does work.

A strain of flu... poof.

Wisconsin Senate candidate and 70s porn fan, Eric Hovde hasn't read up on... the farm bill. Wisconsin. 😱
