Well, what can she do? It was disrespectful and weird (very), but the alternative is insisting Arnie was driving a smaller club and dragging it out nearly a decade after your father's death?
She should have said "No comment", but this is pretty close.
What was anyone hoping to get from asking her? It was still a grotesque story from anyone, much less a candidate. That part is the story, not reaction pieces.
