@Heucuva8 @CommonSenseGent @MommaJ @Render Mental health is NOT driving gun violence.

The science says so.

If you want to spend money for MH, that’s great.

But don’t pretend it’s to solve gun violence.

So, reduction in mag capacity is now a bad thing?

I thought dying from gunshot wounds was bad.

Reducing mag capacity in no way changes your gun. It still works. It will still kill. It just won’t kill as much at one time without reloading.

Here’s the kicker: SCIENCE PROVES IT!

The more I think about it the more it irritates me.

How did Noem’s dog get out of a closed truck?

“Cricket escaped Noem’s truck” — Cricket was a dog without opposable thumbs. She says Cricket was “dangerous to anyone she came in contact with”—if this was indeed the case, why did she stop by some folks house rather than head straight home?

The more I think about it, the less sense it makes.

Nothing adds up except she is a liar and a psychopath.

SHE is the dangerous one.

“He was able to play Baldur’s Gate 3, a rather complex game, at a decent framerate and resolution.”

Since when was 30 FPS considered a “decent” frame rate?

The reviewer was on drugs. 60 FPS is BARELY a decent frame rate. Most want 120 FPS.

That ain’t going to happen with Snapdragon.

pcgamer.com/hardware/gaming-la

“Qualcomm’s Snapdragon X Elite is the most powerful variant, and it’s shaping up to be an Arm chip that could finally live up to expectations.”

But like Trump, it was all hype and no reality. Testing IN THE REAL WORLD, showed that, yes, it was fast, but it was still behind Apple’s M series of chips. It was less an Apple killer and more of an Apple follower.

Windows is so bloated they will never catch up.

Republicans are royalist. Democrats are for a republic.

Interesting note. British wore red. French (who backed us reluctantly) wore blue.

Accidents of history? Perhaps.

Never read a coincidence as a fact.

But it IS interesting. 🧐

“(South Dakota governor and psychopath, Kristi) Noem decided to kill the unnamed goat the same way she had just killed Cricket the dog.”

Noem shot and killed her dog because reasons. She is fucking evil.

“Kennedy looked around confused,” Noem writes of her daughter, who asked: “Hey, where’s Cricket?”

Kennedy is going to be in therapy for the rest of her life. 🥺😢

The big news to me re: Trump is he saved Americans by cheating at golf.

I’m of the opinion that every rally makes us dumber as a country and we should encourage him to continue to play golf instead. 🏌️

I had a cancer nightmare the other night (for those that don’t know I had stage 1 lymphoma and am in remission). Dreamed I went to the ophthalmologist and was told I had stage 4 cancer. Now, never mind the logical inconsistency, my question is will I have cancer nightmares for the rest of my life?

I would like to think not. 😢

When we had the snowpacalypse it wasn’t because of wind or solar (ERCOT said it was) it was because gas generators were competing with homes whose heaters used natural gas.

Wind and solar were working quite well.

ERCOT is owned by Big Fossil (as are most agencies in Texas—corruption here is the norm, not the exception). It’s so bad that Abbot wants to play with small nukes instead of more batteries (despite Musk selling them). Nuke waste? Not his problem.

Reality is not a Texas thing.

“As renewable energy makes up a greater share of the grid, ERCOT said it has posed new challenges too, such as power availability that depends more on weather conditions. Clean energy developers, meanwhile, have accused ERCOT of discriminatory policy before, most recently for utility-scale battery storage.”

ERCOT hates Green Energy because it lowers electricity prices. Republicans hate this type of business model.

The problem is gas generators.

Trump’s No Good Very Bad Horrible beliefs he will make inflation lower again.

Number One: reduce the value of the dollar.

Even a very bad economist will tell you this will only INCREASE inflation. You NEVER want to intentionally devalue your currency.

Trump has no understanding how things work. His over reliance on shell companies and creative accounting shows just how ignorant he is of the real world.

He is corrupt and dangerous and very, very stupid.

When Trump tried to ban TikTok by fiat and failed.

I’ve said that this is all political theater. There are few public facts that support this ban. I’m not pro-China, I’m pro-First Amemdment—and for our government to ban TikTok is an infringement on speech. Extraordinarily action needs extraordinary proof and the US government has provided none.

“The Grants Pass legal team tried to argue that homelessness is “conduct,” something someone does, rather than “status,” something that someone is.”

Some people are evil. And that’s conduct, not status.

No one wants to be homeless.

Reality is crazy shit:

“(Trump’s campaign plans to) appeal to Black voters by suggesting that Trump, a 77-year-old white man from a family of privilege and with a history of offensive rhetoric, is beset by the same injustices that afflict Black Americans.”

Im betting Trump could walk around with a cellphone in both hands and never get shot by a white cop.

‘Cause I live in reality.

The new Republican normal is not politicians helping the American people, but retribution. I’m not sure this is what the Framers intended.

“(Kevin McCarthy) plotting vengeance against those behind his unceremonious ouster as House speaker.“

Is it just me, or am I hearing Trump complain TOO much that he is “FULLY GAGGED”?

To be fully gagged he seems to be talking an awful lot.

Comstock (1873) and Arizona anti-abortion law (1864). Nine years apart and more than a century from today.

Why do Republicans harken to the days when when couldn’t vote? (19th Amendment in 1920)

This is their true objective. It’s not about abortion or contraception, it’s about women who they believe are all Democrats.

They want to take away out voice in government.

Republicans are telling us they hate us. We just have to pay attention.

Will Arizona Courts allow forcing children into marriages next?

Seems like the next obvious step. He was the man who “shepherd” the abortion ban. And “married” children.

This is the man the Arizona Courts thought was admirable enough they’d go to bat for his horrid law.

You have to wonder about the Court. 🤮

“SpaceX's colossal Starship reached orbital speed for the first”

It blew up.

“demonstrated a first step toward being able to refuel in space”

It blew up.

So, when it achieves a first when it KILLS people are we going to shrug lives away?

In the case of Elon Tesla Musk, yeah, yeah, that’s what it looks like.
