Republicans don’t seem to understand WHY you use the toilet.

“Delaware State Sen. Sarah McBride, elected this month as the first openly transgender member of Congress, called U.S. Rep. Nancy Mace's attempts to keep her out of women's facilities at the U.S. Capitol a distraction.”

This is who America voted for: people who don’t understand restrooms, to the REST OF US, are for peeing and pooping.

Only Republicans think they are for sex.

Oregon Governor Tina Kotek (D) announced her state has secured a new supply of the abortion pill mifepristone to last nearly through the entirety of the second Trump administration.

In the announcement, Kotek’s office directly cited the “national results of the general election” as to why the Oregon Health Authority (OHA) and Oregon Health & Science University (OHSU) updated their agreement to provide emergency mifepristone.

Orwell had nothing on Florida:

“In yet another case, Florida's government is arguing that book removals in public schools are "government speech," meaning they are unrestricted by the First Amendment.”

Censorship is free speech.

Wow.

Also, I don’t think this writer understands what “eye of the needle” allegory means—it’s not that one CAN’T get through the “eye of the needle” (a tricky passage through a rock formation) it’s that it is difficult.

Microsoft shows it’s not even that difficult.

“Normally, these kinds of emails are supposed to get caught by spam filters, but because they’re being sent via an official Microsoft address, they’ve managed to get through the eye of the needle. It’s not entirely clear how these hackers managed to send the extortion emails as of this writing, but according to BleepingComputer, the incident is currently being investigated by Microsoft.”

So… again, after the fact, Microsoft investigates. Does MS do ANY testing?

Well, got all my crafters, EXCEPT Culinarian to Level 90 for one character (I have five). Fisher, likewise is in the 80’s. Meh. Both are relatively boring classes. Food is literally given away after quests so it’s not like there is great demand (and what buffs it gives you are lame). And fisher? 🤷🏻‍♀️

I think I’m crafted out.

Inside of you are two wolves:

Both are deciding how to procrastinate and make the other do the work.

How to monetize a bogus government probe. Republican politicians believe in one thing: you are idiots and we can steal your money back running bullshit “investigations” then writing lies about the “investigation”—it’s a win-win for them.

“House Oversight Committee Chairman James Comer’s impeachment probe into President Joe Biden may have fizzled, but at least he might get some cash out of it by launching a tell-all book.”

If people are wondering why I’m not posting as much, is because when this clusterfuck was only a possibility I trusted America to not be a bunch of racist sexist rapey people who want to make Handmaids Tale look inspirational. I truly believed the younger generation would make a good decision. They complained when we were in charge of things.

Now I realize their complaint was we were TOO centrist and not right wing enough.

This saddens me. But they get the world they wanted.

Trump: "He will end the regulatory onslaught that has been crippling America’s Job Creators and Innovators, and ensure that the FCC delivers for rural America."

No he won’t. Rural America is better served through regulation. If companies did what they wanted, we rural folks would get nothing—because there isn’t enough money to be made.

Ma Bell was FORCED to serve rural communities through regulation.

Regulations do not strangle innovation. This is a bullshit meme.

Honestly, I’m not shocked. I even posted that it would hit a point of diminishing returns.

“• OpenAI cofounder Ilya Sutskever told Reuters that results from scaling up AI models like this have plateaued.
• "At some point, the scaling paradigm breaks down," OpenAI researcher Noam Brown said at a recent conference.”

The world is messy and has a LOT of conflicting information. Humans can call “Bullshit!”

How do you infer if there are conflicts?

Part of the reason for AdBlock is that I’m tired of the “monetizing” of everything,. Websites that are more ads than information are not worth it. Worse, monetizing non-information pisses me off—and there are a LOT of sites that copy non-information. I saw one about “how to make a game” an it was 1. Get an IDE. 2. Create a project. 3. Make a best-selling game. (It was a little longer than that, but that’s the gist).

And they were monetizing that. 🙄

Counter.social popped a message saying ad blocker was detected.

It was trivial to white list. I am starting to like AdBlock.

Now if it would just stop CNN ads 😅
