Deserves every review. Works exactly as advertised, which is brilliantly. Make sure you go back and forth, not long strokes like you would a conventional lint brush. Easy emptying.

My oldest cat (only 12) is losing his hearing. He got super clingy, quit meowing for attention and started knocking things off on the floor, which he had never done before. Vet eliminated anything like infection or foreign objects, confirms he can hear a bit, but not much.

So, to save the breakables, I got him the pet version of hotel desk bells.

So far he hasn't connected with ringing them, but he has taken to shoving them off the counter instead of bowls of loose change.

Win?

Not , but I came across this picture of RBF's first interaction with Christmas decorations. It was a sign of things to come.

I woke up and dragged my sick ass out of bed, stepping in what I figured was hairball slime. 🤮

Turn on light and there's blood in the yak puddle. I obviously panic and start checking cats. Two out of three cats acting perfectly normal.

Hairball long hair cat is not. He's positively radiant, bright eyed, bouncing around, eating heartily, not wheezing. He always wheezes.

Gonna keep an eye on him and check in with the vet, but seems like he worked out a problem.

Cat Geek Alert!

RBF is prone to UTIs, though it's been a while since she's had one. Vet called today to check in on a med refill and asked how she was doing.

Me: She's using the litterbox regularly around 9 AM and midnight. Weight is holding steady at 12 lbs.
Vet: Those litterboxes are so helpful!
Me: Yah, and they self clean, too. 😁

I can't wait for the new Smart Weight update to track all the Herd individually. 🤓

Feeder Robot update - everything was working fine, but the schedules were glitching. I did some troubleshooting, checked reddit, read support articles and finally dropped into chat at Whisker.

Less than 5 minutes later I have a new unit on the way to replace my refurbished unit (which works, but not 100%). SUPER impressed.

I now have both the Litter Robot and the Feeder Robot and can say that I and the Thundering Herd are delighted.

Feeder Robot has arrived. Nice and sturdy, pretty large but also holds a good amount of food and isn't gonna be knocked over.

Setup took a couple of tries; a function of spotty network in that area of the house. Didn't show up in app after connect, restart of phone fixed that.

Will put in the smaller food wheel after this round of food is done so I can give smaller snack amounts. Cats took to it immediately in the same spot as old feeder. Giving it 5/5 paws so far.

OK, I finished my taxes and am annoyed that I'm getting a refund (mostly to a change in state where I work). That said, I have a firm rule that 10% of any unexpected money goes to something non-essential. This keeps me from snapping and spending it all.

So, I love my Litter Robot 4, it's completely awesome. Do I splurge and get a reconditioned Feeder Robot? (I have three cats and OMG the Litter Robot has been life changing.)

OMFG! You can set Roomba up to vacuum after Litter Robot cycles and I'm officially good with our robot overlords, TYVM.

I just did an online product marketing survey for an automatic pet feeder that dispenses based on a collar chip, so you can feed different amounts to different critters.

First thought was take my money.

Second was an image of the chonky boy forcing the other cats to unlock their food for him.

Doing some numbers on the fancy poop bot. I've now had my Litter Robot 4 for 4 months. I have 3 cats, I use World's Best Cat Litter and was using 32 lbs/mo. for approximately $35 in two litterboxes I emptied 1-2X/day.

I've used a bag of litter in four months, for a savings of about $100. I empty one bin once per week when I get a notification. My back hall does not smell like a litterbox. At all.

Complete convenience item. Best QOL purchase in a while.

The 30 lb WBCL litter comes in boxes with side handles (nice touch) and clearly labeled on all sides "This is for your cat".

No porch piracy issues with the cat litter, I'm pleased to report. 🤣

This is The Magnificent Bastard in his favorite position, cutting off my circulation. I've had a lot of cats over the years, but he's the special one.

When I went to the cat shelter (cage free) after losing my boy Sumi, he ran across the room to jump in my lap. Cosmic Jr. made me leave to "think about it", the next night he did the same thing, but fixed me with a look of irritation at not taking him home the night before.

Mr. Cosmic having a bionic knee put in tomorrow, so no door knocking petri dishes for us this year, dangit. 😷

RBF is clearly over it, tho!

Happy Halloween! 👻

Cosmic Doodle was introduced yesterday, but today is . Meet RBF and The Magnificent Bastard. They know blocking the coffee will get them fed. ☕
