I’m intrigued by alternative building styles. I really love straw bale houses! Am fascinated by cob homes, domes, tree houses, cave dwellings, tiny homes and the myriad of ways they can be built. These “aircrete” domes are beautiful! Can easily picture being very happy in something like that!

Alex Murdaugh Failed a Lie Detector Test, Breaching His Plea Agreement ,in U.S. COURT filing

Why don’t we use lie detectors in court? We expect all these criminals to “tell the truth” and then have to spend days trying to find evidence of if they tell the truth or just lie.

Why can’t we simplify the trump charges that require him to tell the truth, and ask him on the stand? I want to see Trump answer on the stand, don’t you?

Your smart TV is snooping on you. Here's how to limit the personal data it gathers zdnet.com/home-and-office/home by @sjvn

You can't stop smart TVs from looking over your shoulder, but you can at least cut down on their snooping.

(I am so glad that things have changed. In 1963, when I was labeled a "gifted student" things were not great. I took part in one of the first studies on this. Half the chosen went to live in dorms at university at 15, the rest stayed in local schools with added support. Guess which cohort succeeded? Yep not mine. University at 15 fucked me up.)

The Washington Post:
Former president Donald Trump calls his globe-trotting ex-diplomat ‘my envoy.’ Neither is in office.

Richard Grenell has been acting as a kind of shadow secretary of state, meeting with far-right leaders and movements, and pledging Trump’s support.

My grandparents always kept me supplied with Steiff animals, including this bunny. When its squeaker stopped squeaking, my mom suggested having her father - an eminent neurosurgeon - take a look at it. He examined it thoughtfully, suggested that it needed “vitamins”, gave me an eye dropper and some liquid that I administered. He then asked me to try the squeaker again and it WORKED! The adults in the room were astounded but I took this as just another normal act of medicine.

Yah, that seems to be the case. When I saw the Baltimore accident, I pinged my Sarasota friend with "Like the Florida bridge!". I didn't remember it was the Sunshine Skyway, but she immediately (being from there) started talking about it.

I just thought it was bigger news at the time. Then again, everyone considered it an accident, like they should be considering this one. Really tragic, but an accident.

Same thing here! I actually wear a charm of an elephant, along with other charms! I worked with a doctor. He had a massive collection of elephant figurines on a shelf in his office! Beautiful animals!

Wowza! I never knew that there were so many different breeds of Doxies! Damn! I feel like I have been living under a rock! 😂 The Wiredhaired is absolutely beautiful! Nice mix! From what you have said, sounds like they have a wonderful temperament too!

I’m enjoying this show. Grew up in a mining area, Gdad was a powder monkey all over ID, NV and CA. In the 80s I married into a 3rd gen weekend mining family for a decade. We mined every weekend all summer long.

You can learn most of what you need to know to make a little or a lot of money watching America’s Backyard Gold.

This video tells you what’s needed to pan for gold for the first time. The one on tv now is from Placerville, they’re sniping for gold.
