Agreed.
@peterquirk
Wow, I knew it was bad, but not THIS bad.

The truly charitable don't crow about it.
The NFL loves its PR pandering. Especially with a healthy dose of US Flag Code violations.

Seriously?

And even if you think the jokes are no big deal, consider that the more we normalize and sensationalize the violence the more chances there are to inspire copycats. School shootings, for an obvious example.
The media has a lot to blame for this kind of thing; they've been profiting off sensationalizing violence for many years. But we don't need to help them.
@evistre @stueytheround @th3j35t3r @AkomoCombine
Whether it is or is not what the media is running with at the moment, the thing that bothers me the most are all of the people here joking about it, just like the earlier incident in PA.
I'm all for a good laugh, but to me joking about assassination attempts minimizes their seriousness, and the people making the jokes definitely wouldn't be singing the same tune if it was an attempt on the person they support.
@Kinnison
Those are good points I hadn't thought of.

Is there actually any logical sense to Biden's decision to keep long range limits in place for Ukraine using ATACMS?
I'm well aware of Putin's threats, but his publicly declared red lines seem to be faded pink at best. He may be nuts, but he's no idiot. If he were to make good on his threat, he knows that the response from NATO would be unprecedented.

Not sure if you are familiar with Jacob Collier or this amazing a cappella gospel piece he wrote. If not, it's worth a listen.
@hanse
Yeah he really made a banger of a choral piece with this one. And really it's only possible because of the absolute force that is the Oakwood Aeolians (and their alumni).
I will say that I dislike the effects added to the album version (fortunately not heard in what you linked expect the synths near the end).
Here's another amazing performance:

@andrewcusworth
No, I don't know what you're referring to.
Regarding my list, something that's indirectly related is the use of sampled or physically modeled instruments for TV and film where real musicians could have easily been used.
I'm thinking of the obviously sampled solo cello used in the Game of Thrones theme. Not to mention that I find that composer incredibly lazy. The Westworld theme is pretty much the same thing with a few tonal and rhythmic alterations.
@andrewcusworth
Here are a few off the top of my head.
1. Loss of work for composers and arrangers
2. Training AI composition engines using work taken without permission
3. Decline in average composition skills (AI fixes your poor voicing/voice leading, etc.)
4. Further homogenization of film/TV/pop music
5. Declining market standards for subjectively high quality music (public brain drain)
6. Decline of formal composition study (becoming a dead end career)
