I have to share a really nice thing that happened to me. Last week was the spring concert for my student choir I direct. I was walking my choir to the stage, and a custodian who I had never seen in the building before came along side me and said, "Hey, Mr. [redacted], remember me?"

Turns out, he was a student in my high school #musictheory class about 12 or so years back. He's now a district custodian. We chatted for a bit, then I had to go conduct my concert.

Interesting methodology here, but the examples cited are ridiculous. First of all Billboard Top 100 in recent years contains the worst quality modern pop music out there. So you are starting out with a highly flawed data set.
