Well, I just got my raise info. The team hasn't met our sales goals, so it's low, as expected, but not bad.
On the other hand... the bonus is quite nice! It's going to help the move in January go much more smoothly.

Why? Because they didn’t like the leak that showed their deaths were preventable. So they think they fired the leakers. This is what happens when you try to suppress the truth.
Oh, yeah, the deaths are linked to the draconian anti abortion law.

I've had a knot in my stomach since the election, and I miss my kitty who ran away...but I got some good writing done for work today and I've got a big pot of baked beans in the oven and I had some good cuddles with my other cat.

I was inspired by people talking about how terrible green bean casserole is. And I like to have a mushroom dish at Thanksgiving.
So I'm thinking mushrooms, spinach, vegan bratwurst, wheat berries, homemade mushroom soup with vegan sour cream, and topped with fried onions.
I miss my cuddle bunny.
Chonky is sweet, but Anna was always wanting to be in my lap or on my feet. Never imagined I'd miss waking up to her in my face.
Chonky seems fine Day after she ran away, he was pacing at the door, meowing. I thought he was looking for Anna, but it turned out someone had dropped a hotdog and he could smell it. If anything, he's happy to not need to compete for cuddles.
