@damselfly59 I would! Lots of animals get declared cute or scary. Not only do I think the scary animals need appreciation too, I think most of them aren't that scary when you get to know them.
Everyone thinks pandas and squirrels are adorable. Someone has to have some love for the rats!

Yes, they're fragile and short-lived. Even if I didn't have cats, I wouldn't be able to deal with that.

@tyghebright @damselfly59 The only thing that keeps us from having pet rats is that they live such short lives. I can't handle a heartbreak every 3 years.
