@AskTheDevil It really is. I knew a guy who went into a coma because he was meditating in a sealed garage with heavy incense, passed out in full lotus and bent at the waist, he lost his legs because of the lack of blood flow. When he woke from the coma, he was mentally an infant, had to be potty trained and all. Anyway, his short term memory was lost every time he fell asleep. He had to write down what he did every day, so he could read it the next morning. He was sharp as a tack, though.
@Route10 Hmm. I could see those flavors pairing well and popcorn is bland. I'm intrigued.
@Koore @AskTheDevil Why do people have to suck everywhere?
@AskTheDevil Pardon me while I giggle at the actually rather concerning medical event you had.
Okay, so in California Dreamin' he's in a church because he's cold and has to listen to a pastor's sermon for shelter and he thinks if he was in California, it would be different. Always makes me laugh. I had to sit through a few sermons for a free meal. In California. America is America, it would seem.
@stueytheround Cool. Meanwhile, I have a better customer service experience with mail order delivery.
@Koore @AskTheDevil Aaaah, fuk.
@Koore @AskTheDevil Gods I want to sneak into Canada to stay.
Residents of countries that are not America, I have a question. When you purchase something from a cashier and there is someone behind you, after you hand your money over, are you shoved aside for the next person or are you allowed to gracefully pack your receipt and change before they are done with you?
Is this "liminal"? I know liminal mostly refers to places in transition from one state to another, like a closed school waiting to open again, but this feeling I want to express is more stationary, closer to anxiety or detachment. Looking at the world and not being able to take from it cues if you are safe or not, because normal things have not always been safe, but you're fine and not actually afraid or anxious. You can't come to rest, but you are resting.
@YouInMyEye That was a cool read, thanks for sharing.
Sheep shows gratitude to the dog who saved them from a wolf attack. (davidattenborough_fans)

@holon42 Yeah, that'll be me soon. Joe's already looking at properties nearby, so we can get the trailer out of here. I have to keep reminding him that I don't drive anymore (my movement disorder makes me a hazard), so I have to be kind of close to a city, or I'll be isolated when he goes out of town. I like that isolation though, so we don't have to be too close. Like, if I can rent a car to a place where I get everything I need within a couple of miles, it's all good.
Nature, science, and art are super cool. Terribly sorry for the stuff that doesn't fit.
She/they cishet.
