We are so very lucky that this got caught by a dev who just happened to be investigating a performance issue before it was released to stable distributions.

(I had Lasik ~12 years ago, and it's been great, but I've noticed my distance vision slipping a bit over the past year. So now I get to wear glasses again (though with a much lighter Rx than last time!) while I wait a few years to see how my eyes progress. I can get a Lasik adjustment, but can apparently only get one of those so want to make it count!)

This week, my district IT department sent out another one of these:

🏎️ I just realized I haven't shared a video from Sunday's #autocross yet - correcting that now!
This event marks the start of our 2024 season, and I'm really excited to have some other competitors in the Solo Spec Coupe (SSC) class this year. I learn a lot more by losing to others than winning against myself!
On that note, I placed 3rd of 4, and felt pretty good about it. Looking forward to the next race in a few weeks! #BecauseRacedcar

As a gay man, I really wish Usonians (including the ones on here) would stop reveling or casting forced Anal intercourse as a justified and appropriate punishment for people who are incarcerated.
Showing glee and making jokes about being raped are not funny and right up there with jokes based on race or culture.
I've only come to see this / realized exactly how poisonous these jokes can be for our society. So I hope you too can come to see why we need to stop with the "Lube in Jail" shite!
Status update: I've installed Debian 12 on the three Zima Blades, and I've "racked" one in my network cabinet for now (and ordered power adapters so I can stick the other two in there as well).
I've also used Salt to apply my baseline config, and will be building states to do the rest of the setup (Nomad, Consul, etc). That way it'll be super-quick to get the other two set up once the additional equipment arrives.
This will be fun!
