Update on last night's DV situation at the hotel. Police arrested the guy. He beat up the woman pretty badly. I hope she will be all right and that he gets put away for a long time.

Anyway, we're grabbing an early IHOP breakfast and then hitting the road for home.

Awakened at 0245 by a domestic situation in the hall. Notified the authorities. Good thing we have a long drive ahead of us today and don't really need sleep tonight.

Just mentioned Only Murders in the Building and my wife was all, "What's that?"

My wife and I have two con food traditions. 1: We always get Arby's on the way to the con. No, I don't know why. 2: We always get sushi/ramen the night before or the night after the con.

Con is done. I didn't quite make table but my wife more than made up for the shortfall. This wasn't bad at all for a first year con. I think I shall return next year.

So I'm next to a table of video game bros. Just had to politely evict one of them from standing in front of my table hawking his games. Seriously.

Drove through a 100-mile-long fog bank in western Kansas, which was really disappointing because I didn't get to see any of the fantastic scenery.
